Finally made it home!

I unloaded in LaVergne TN at 1:00 pm. Sat here till almost 5pm then finally got a w/a. I pick up on Dickson TN and deliver back near Chicago... Same exact run I had on Tues. The only kicker is I don't load till Monday am and deliver Tuesday am! I guess I will hang out at the Pilot here in Dickson for the next 60 hours! What a weekend! At least I get the 800 miles for the weekend plus the 500 for the load since I don't load till Monday. I will go stir crazy sitting here this long!

 

Hope you're right. Ive heard drivers say that they didnt get the guaranteed minimum because they were under dispatch,regardless that it picked up monday.

 

That happened to me once and I got it... I was paid the 800 minus the deadhead miles to pickup. I drove on Sunday to shipper. So as long as you sit allll weekend and deadhead Monday morning u will get 800 plus the empty and loaded miles...

 

That makes no sense. If u r under dispatch from Friday to Monday u r still hung out... Those drivers r either lying as usual or were late during the week and covering themselves....

 

The only way I would go in to that place is with a gun to the side of my head.

I was on time with everything last week. I pulled in the Pilot near the shipper around 7pm last night and will be sitting here till Monday am when I go pick up my load (except for a quick trip down the street to Walmart tomorrow to stock up for the week). If I didn't get the empty and loaded miles plus the 800, I would probably quit! I called in yesterday and spoke to someone who said I would get it as long as I met the requirements for the week..... We will see!

 

Home headed to Ohio tomorrow

 

Home last night around 8pm (after some wildly creative-and all 100% legal-hours manipulation of my weekly schedule). Heading out Sunday early afternoon bound for Chicagoland again, Elk Grove Village, IL.
