The one I am getting has the channels for the J-hooks on the outside rails, inside by the main beams, and front and back. You can virtually tie down from anywhere on this trailer.

No, I had traded that trailer off in August for a new step, told myself then I should just get a regular flat, so now I am trading off my step for a flat.

Retnouer does not weld their beams or anything. They are all bolted with high grade 8 bolts.

A pete has a heavier frame the freightliners do. kenworths even heavier. learned that years ago when i bought a W900 and it had the same specs but was over 1000 lbs heavier. started asking around and call kenworth and thats when the told me how much more the frame rails weight

I just got my plug wired up on my truck, will see how it goes. If I don't like the way the factory one works then I will just remove it and put a normal one on that doesn't run thru the trailers computer, would likely have to run new wires from the front to the back doing this, not sure. I did talk to a guy in the shop where I bought mine, he said the first ones that Reitnouer put on people had a lot of trouble with them, they switched the brand of valve they where using to something different and have had good luck with it. He said mine is the newer valve so I shouldn't have any issues with it. It is supposed to let you start dumping air at around 14mph. Hopefully I get a load out of here tomorrow so I can try it out.
