Well, just finished up my 3rd day on the trainer truck a couple hours ago. Things have been going well, with the exception of a little hiccup yesterday when we had to sit for 3 hours waiting for a few things to be done to the truck (fuel filter & some recall issues). Of course, it could've been a lot worse. Still, pushed us into a much later day...MUCH later! But hey, sometimes when ya think its going not quite up to snuff, something good happens. Got to a consignee in the wee hours, thinking we'd be unloaded @7am. Noticed a couple guys taking a smoke break. We spoke with them about where we might be able to park for the rest of the night (very small parking lot at this place), & they said, "I think we can just get ya unloaded right now if ya want." So we did. That was not bad AT ALL. Unloaded, folded up the tarp, stowed the gear, to the truck stop, & hit the hay.
Today was slow, however, as we didn't get our load assignment till mid-afternoon. Little run from Lebanon, TN to Tuscaloosa, AL (I hear tell they dabble in a little college football in these parts) where we'll pick up in the A.M. & head to GA.
Really enjoying everything. Even folding up that tarp in the cold rain wasn't all bad (each fold meant I was that much closer to some rack time). My trainer's a good guy with a good sense of humor, patient with my questions. Well, time for some shut eye. Y'all be safe out there!

Atlanta is easy just turn the signal on and go. I found that is the only way they will move. Seriously though hope every thing is going good and which way were you coming from? I was on I 24 today.

We were coming from Tuscaloosa, headed to Social Circle, GA. Now parked for the night at Pilot in Madison since the consignee in Social Cir. said overnight parking is not allowed inside the city limits. I guess we're not allowed into their...............wait for it..............social circle.
(Oh, c'mon...you know you were all thinking it! lol) -
