have been with coastal for coming up on 2 years. I work out of the main terminal in san antonio. i love it there . have been offered more to switch companies but didn't consider it. my first few months were pretty tough . not because of them but because for some reason i had a 5 month brainfart! i made about every gas hauling mistake on the books. i got suspended a few times but they stuck with me and believed in me ( even when i doubted myself.) i make good money. and get home every night. i will usually work real hard the first few days of the week then coast on the back end. if you come in each day and just do your assigned work you can make. decent money. if you put in a little effort you can make real good money. ifyou work harder than most you make great money. we get paid by the load. how much the load pays is based on the distance from the pick-up point. if i run a city load ( under 26 miles i think) i get 45 bucks.
hope this helps
