Its probably the payroll issue more than the back ach..lol.. Better get the back fixed, cause you can always straighten the payroll issues..So whats this we can get some dedicated runs...What about home time? can we get back at the house or do we need to stay out a miminum?

Funny you should say that. I got a phone call from the President of the company this morning about my pay. Without going into the long boring story, lets just say my thoughts about what happened were true. The issue was addressed, corrected and resolved. The discrepancies were corrected, the lost trip envelope was found, and I was asked if I wanted the lost wages mailed home or handed to me when I get back to Pittston on Monday. I opted for the check in hand, my luck they would mail it to the house and would get lost in the mail, oh, the back is feeling much better today, coincidence?

Hometime is not an issue here. Long before I got this dedicated run I was home every week for at least a reset, unless I went to California, then it was 16 days out. They don't force you to stay out. It's basically out and back. Dedicated runs are earned. It's our top freight for our long term customers. This is a very easy place to work. Once they see how you run they will preplan you the whole week.

Got home last night about 7pm. I should have been home at 5pm but lost some time getting a new steer tire put on in Kingsland. I left the house at 5am, did my 2 drops and was back home at 9am. Here's 2 pictures showing my tire shopping experience yesterday.

That is somewhat correct. The account you are talking about, we still have, it's just that it's being given to drivers that live in and around Ohio on a regular basis to get them home. I suggest you keep calling as they always adjust the need for drivers in certain areas. They just hired 3 drivers that live in Florida because two of us are on dedicated runs and one quit, so they still have to cover the other freight into these areas.

People in trucking lie? I guess after all these years I have a bunch of people on my poo list also. Disregard my last post. We have enough people with a poo list that work here. I wonder how many drivers out there have us on their poo list that never worked here.

    JohnBoy,

I can't recall the name right now and I tried to look back for it but this thread is so long I can not find who I'm trying to think of but I believe he is from Florida and you got him a job at Calex and you two use to run a lot of loads together and run the west coast several times together. Anyway I'm sure you know who I'm talking about but is he still with Calex and how is he doing? We don't hear much about him lately and just wondering how he is doing? Last I heard he was back with Calex and have not heard much since. Can you update us all or did he start another thread that I don't know about? You two always had a lot of good information to talk about and always enjoyed reading about your two journeys.
