Any OTR Truckers with Sprint or T-Mobile Unlimited Data?

Obviously you dont own the note 2 at 5.5" and 64g it is neither small and I can down load over 100 movies

 

I hear ya, but judging by their sales, they should change their name to freeberry's. The BB fad is long gone. Only a few remaining Crackberry users left.

Back then, before driving a 18 wheeler, I was operating a trackhoe and bulldozer and would have a lot of down time waiting for trucks to dump. My Blackberry would help pass a lot of time back then.

 

I think it's too early to call the Z10 a flop considering it's not even out in the US yet. If it does flop it will be because it is too much like just another htcandriodiphonenote 100% touch screen giant. BB should stick what they are known for: email/messaging, top notch fit/finish, ease of use, and last and definitely not least those heavenly keyboards.

I don't care as I was never an igorant fad follower. In fact I like to go against the herd. If RIM goes under I will still continue to use my Bolds as long as they continue to work which I have no doubt will be a loooong time as they have been flawless.

I have Tmobile and I have only been in a handful of places where I didn't get service. Not enough of a hassle to pay nearly double to get with Verizon what I have now.

 

Blackberry producing the same ole same ole is going to be the cause of them going under. Phones that sell well in Europe sell well here. Phones that tank in Europe tank here. The past sales don't lie. BB had it's place, but failed to keep up. Now they're trying to fit in with Apple, Samsung, and HTC, unfortunately for them it's about 2 years too late.

I had an Android phone well before most people knew how to spell Android, much less know what it is. Just so you know, Android is only an operating system. It has nothing to do with the phone itself. Take the HTC HD2 for example. At the time of it's release, it was the biggest touchscreen phone. It's came with windows mobile installed, which really sucked, and didn;t take advantage of the phones capabilities. It wasn't long before independent dev's found a way to get rid of Windows Mobile, and install Android on the HD2, making it one of the best phones around for a couple of years.

The good thing about being one of the few remaining Crackberry users is that you can buy BB's for 20% of the contract price, on Craigslist. Go ahead and stock up because they won't be around for much longer.

 

Because first off they are too big to be practical. I like a phone that fits in my pocket. Even my 9930 is a bit too large compared to my old 9650. 2nd reason is because honestly I am somewhat of a technology tard and find them very complicated and difficult to use. Plus I have hyper hydrosis and my hands are often moist from that and from holding a scummy steering wheel all day. Touching a touch screen would make a hot mess real quick.

My Bold 9930 has a touchscreen but I NEVER use it. I love the trackpad and keyboard. I have been to Europe a few months ago and there are many physical keyboard BB offshoots on the market there. Was just @ my local Verizon store yesterday and the 9930 is the only keyboard phone left. Everything is else is touch screen.

Lastly I wouldn't bet on RIM going under so quick. The first Blackberry came out in 1995 so they are no fly by night/one hit wonder outfit. If anything they will become a niche/small volume cell phone manufacturer like before the Bold 9000 craze hit in 2007.

Jim Balsillie officially exists BlackBerry, sells 5.1 percent stake

The man who help create BlackBerry, Jim Balsillie, has decided to leave the company altogether by selling off his remaining 5.1 percent stake (26.8 million shares in the company). Balsillie's role shrank over the past year when he stepped down as co-CEO and resigned from the board of directors.

This no doubt opens up a range of speculation to why Balsillie would dump all shares in BlackBerry after the company's launch of its new flagship Z10 handset. He either has no faith in the future of the company or he just simply wants to move on and be apart of something he'll have more influence over. Regardless, you can't hate the man for wanting to cash out while the gettin' is good.

We last checked BlackBerry stock price at 14.18.

Home Depot ditches BlackBerry for iPhone

It's been a little over a week now since BlackBerry officially announced its new BlackBerry 10 operating system. Since last week#we've#heard a variety of rumors discussing how well the Waterloo company's flagship Zed 10 is selling. Some analysts have said there is significant sellouts of the device in the U.K., while others claim the reports are all hype. Regardless of all the chatter going on the company has done better in the public relations field as of late. Well, that momentum is taking a bit of a hit today.

BlackBerry prides itself on its enterprise customers, so every company that migrates away from the troubled phone maker hurts. Home Depot a real giant in the home improvement business has decided to move 10,000 of its employees into the iPhone, according to sources familiar with the matter who told AllThingsD. The home improvement retailer plans to outfit store, district and corporate management with iPhones.

A move like this could certainly trigger a chain reaction with other major retail corporations who may happen to still carry BlackBerry phones. The question is, can BlackBerry keep the bulk of its enterprise customers with its latest offerings? We guess only time will tell.
