    Agree 110% mate.
A few outlaws/idiots/whatever, make it hard for the rest of us to make a living at times.
I got chewed out by a ND DOT cop when pulling blades last year, for no other reason except that some of the other blade haulers, for different companies no less, kept running off the road on a certain ramp. He didn't give two craps about my spotless safety record, never doing any damage, never had a wreck, and so on. Made me and my steer car feel like finding those fools and giving them all a good kick in the teeth.

I agree with having all permits in place, and if you do otherwise you deserve the fine. Also have never run NY or NJ oversize, but the only jurisdiction that has ever asked to see my permit was MO. Something I find curious.

Some states will ask every time, and some others will pull you over just to look at it often enough to not get too stupid.
IL scale on 80 will actually have you park on the scale and walk inside with your permit. Lots of states will automatically pull you around back and want to see a permit etc.

Most states want to see the permit, Georgia on I 95 sometimes stamps the permit and the scale will sign it also.

Funny how the OP has gone all quiet huh?:biggrin_25522: .
Maybe he realized that this is NOT the place to ask about running illegal, when 99% of us do it right the first time because we know better, especially in these times of CSA etc.
Think someone may need to go back to yanking a trailer with doors on it around huh?

And for a reason other than not being able to do it right I would guess?
Money is money, and I would swing doors if it paid more or my normal freight died a death. But some folks NEED to be swinging them doors IMHO.
