Some lesson I learned in 1990 to have straight lines to avoid confusion.
Use a credit card or small 6" ruler for drawing your lines. Also use a zebra 301 pen. Lines just look nicer..
Elogs vs EOBR vs AOBRD What do you use and how does it work?

This link shows Xata screen displays . One nice display is consecutive time off . I have had a couple of problems with this . I will look at the screen when my off duty time is almost up then set the Blackberry down . A few times a slight movement has accidentally put me On Duty a few minutes before my 10 hours is up . I can enter a log error remark but it will show me in violation until someone from the safety department edits it . I don't sit and wait for that . http://www.androidblip.com/android-apps/tpmobile-231279.html
There is also a remarks screen to enter things like Personal Conveyance (entered off duty and will record miles driven but not show them on miles driven on the log ) , break , customer , roadside inspection , breakdown , and others I assumed can be specified by the customer . -
Thanks Rick, we use DDL right now to check drivers logs in the office, and in the past we did have one driver that used the DDL program in his truck on his laptop, and it seemed to work well, that's why we are revisiting this issue.
But as I said, we are just trying to see what is out there, E-logs are only part of the equation, the bigger part is getting P/W back and forth, without having to stop all the time.
Thanks again, Stan -
Look at dropbox for teams for paperwork.
