Stuck at the yard because of the snowstorm lol
-
That sucks. I seen the message they sent that it would be best to park there and I immediately thought surely not best for the drivers since no food and restrooms after mechanics leave. I would be at a truck stop or casino. I never stay at the yard.
-
In Elk Grove Village,Il waiting to deliver in the morning. Planned on a Petsmart load to Dallas and Denton,Tx for early Friday morning deliveries.
-
That's ok, no worries. Just attempting to clear the matter up is all. I mean, based on your stats to the left, being a trucker for 39 years at age 32 ? ... admitting you are confused seems like a gross understatement to me. Admitting you ASSumed doesn't really help either, sorry.
-
Gee the man admitted to his mistake and apologized thats more than most would of done . Give credit

Delivered my 2 stop Petsmart load in Texas. Picked up in Dallas going to the convention center in Indianapolis for Sunday morning. Got a preplan picking up in Defiance,Oh going to Tyler,Tx afterwards.

I still have my pick up truck parked at the yard and it comes in really handy. I was there during the previous storm. Did a 34, got the truck serviced, and watched it snow from the Holiday Inn.BigKid2 Thanks this.

First, it doesnt matter what my stats to the left say. You need to worry more about your situation then what a strangers "stats" are.
Second, It seems to me NO MATTER WHAT ACT would have done you wont gonna be satisfied because you didnt get the color truck you wanted!!I'm sorry you fell for the "sales pitch"!! If anyones "confused" around it here it must be you!! There is thread after thread and post after post about the dangers and pitfalls of doing a LP but NOPE you drank the kool-aid and found out it was pi@#!! By the way, it seems that NO company is a "good fit" for you. Pam, Ozark, and now ACT!?

If being a company driver is an option for you, then it is usually the best option for you. If you're not in the lease purchase deal to work your butt off with the goal of becoming an owner operator one day, then you will almost always be disappointed with the results. It's just not worth the risk if you're just looking for a job. Best of luck to you Twig. I hope you find what you're looking for.Last edited: Mar 2, 2013
