I miss sleeping at truck stops because of this. I got the best sleep next to an idling truck or older reefer unit

Sleeping while they are running is no problem for me. It us just when the older ones start up, that always seems to wake me.

I've only slept next to one in South Dakota. Delivered to a dog food manufacturer. They had personal reefers for storage. Those trailer looked like they were from the 70's. I had my earbuds in and listening to my iPod and could still hear that thing, and it was on the other side of the lot lol

Hell I'll take the noise of anyreefer I've ever pulled over a #### Detroit ddec--when their fan cycles on--sounds like the flight deck on a carrier during ops!

Yup sure do slept in a truck for a year in iraq with a V892 detroit in it. The only time that thing shut off was when we stopped for fuel and they are loud as hell when the fan cycles on.

I can sleep next to anything if I'm tired enough... If it annoys me, I'll put in some plugs. One time, I was so tired, I fell asleep on my buddy's amp while he was having band practice...

So from reading this thread I've deduced:

    1) If I do anything different from any other driver, I should start looking for a new career because I'm a cry-baby steering wheel holder.

    B) If I do anything different from any other driver, I should start looking for a new career because I'm a cry-baby steering wheel holder.

III) If I do anything different from any other driver, I should start looking for a new career because I'm a cry-baby steering wheel holder.

Am I correct? If not set me straight as I've only been driving for 3 years...but reading and comprehending internet posts for less time than that.

    Thanks.

You labeled your bullet points incorrectly. Everyone knows its 1) 2) D)....You need to start looking for a new career because you are a cry-baby steering wheel holder.
