Here, Jakaby lol. Well it has been a busy week indeed. First thing is, the Richmond, VA academy is awesome. The instructors here are great, and I have met some cool people as well. Shout out to my man Woppin on passing your test bro, didn't get to see ya today but congratulations Man.Another guy that has given me a lot of good direction since getting here is Larry. Big shout to him as well. First week couldn't have been better, well except for Motel shixt. I will continue to give updates when I can. Thanks for all the post.

PS Like everyone says, first day all paperwork. Couple of quizzes through the week, and on the range in the trucks pretty fast. If I can answer any questions, I will.

Good to hear you are doing well shamrock. There's no end as to what you can learn about this business.

Heres a tip- if you ever drive for a household mover, don't ever take a 10 hour break while parked in the back row. The poor ####### behind me climbs out of the cab to find that his trailer door is open and there is somebody's junk spread from here out to the road.

####! I guess someone will be tearing that driver a new one soon, huh lol. That's got to be a ##### to have to explain to your boss. Not to mention the people that hired the moving company. I don't envy his situation, at the moment. Poor guy, lol. Btw, where you camped out tonight, Jakaby?

Btw, best way to describe shift training on the range. The scene, a truck stop. Four drivers walk into a Pilot, and suggest to a couple of staff that they should hop in their trucks, and take a couple laps. Here go the staff counter clockwise, 4-ways flashing, and eager for the chance. Of course it's a total disaster, as the drivers watch and laugh uncontrollably. Yeah that's it. Good times!

Yea, I would imagine that dude will be up poop creek without an evinrude motor. I feel sorry for the guy, but at the end of the day you have to be thankful it wasn't you. It doesn't say much for the theives though. I would take a chance on what's in a dry van as opposed to a household moving truck. I already know what's in there. Someone's furniture. If I had a Van Gogh to move, it AIN'T going to be moved by a regular household moving company.

As for campin out, I am at the TA in beautiful Paulsboro, New Jersey. As far as TA's go, it's actually one of the better ones in my opinion. There was a preacher-man inside the restaurant telling me and a JB Hunt driver that we are headed for eternal damnation unless we start getting right with Jesus. He asked me for money, and when I told him no, he said Jesus was going to take care of him. I guess Jesus couldn't break a 20 at the time.
