There is a difference between "chatter" and reading proposed legislation on a .gov website. There will always be o/o's who ignore proposed legislation (dont call their congressman) and are shocked when it becomes law. How long will the "voluntary" Green operators program be voluntary in VA? Why is The New York Port Authority sending its CAS (Clean Air Strategy) SCR (selective catalytic reduction) group to Long Beach for legal advice? BTW, VA sent representatives to the same conference in December. Why does Maryland have this in the Port Admin. directive? "Replacement truck engines will be no older than 2007 models. An important aspect of the program is that the old vehicles being replaced must be scrapped"....

These are all available on government websites. You can choose to ignore the fact that this country is run by left wing tree hugging hippies or you can fight back now before every state is just as bad as California.

Or you can keep telling people that it will never happen.

Good points, thanks. You are talking to a life time OOIDA Member.I am up on alot of things on a daily basis.I do vote, show up,call and write..After many years i ignore the ''chatter''.It is a great talking point, but far from reality..Don't believe all you here and get yourself worked up.It keeps the stress levels down..

Many things they proposed over the years are not even a talking point these days nor LAW.So i take it all with a great assault..IMO they will never ''mandate'' every single truck with EOBR's..Impossible on so many levels. What i do see is these cowardly companies dopping to there knees and putting them in there trucks,in hopes of brownie points. That is a reality. But a mandate will put so many people on the welfare lines and unemployed. So i guess the FED'S will have to pick there poison...WORKFARE or WELFARE..

I for one would sell and go on Welfare and let the dummies kill themselves for peanuts...

LOL, "a great assault" thats funny.

I dont really think government cares how many people they send to the welfare office. I call the EPA the "employment prevention agency".

Agreed, but if your newly owning in the industry, best to prepare for the worst. Not fully out of the question.
