My truck is governed at 65 and I can run over 700 miles in a day, so how can you say it can't be done in a state with a speed limit of 75MPH?

    mje Thanks this.

Buy a program it is called eclipse log book. On ur computer I use it it is cleaner, faster, more organized and just buy s printer..

When I get pulled into scales I just tell them its electronic and they're like ohh okay most of the time they dont check em. And not saying I run 100% illegal but I can't rest 10 hours. If u need any help with anything shoot me a pm

I have a QualComm EOBR that says otherwise. I've driven my entire 11 and had like 706 miles. So it can be done, and I can't be written a ticket because that's what it says.

Ill believe it when i see it. Sorry been around this industry since i was knee high to a grasshopper and ive yet to see anybody log that many miles legally. And running 15 minutes over looking for a truckstop dont count as legal in my book. And those qualcomms are bs they wont kick you onto driving till you get over 15 mph for all we know you drove your last 6 miles running 14mph and logged it as your pti.

The 15 mins over looking for a truck stop was on paper and I know it isn't legal.

As far as how elogs work, I know that too...but it still counts your miles for the day and it only counts miles as its on the driving line. That's why it gets off from your actual miles which is a bit more for the day depending on how many times you stop.

I can't do it every day, because most days I'm making multiple deliveries. But when I'm coming back from out west going across 10, 40, or 80 I can easily do it. There are no towns to slow down for, and the ones there are, they're 65 anyways.

Oh and as for the driving slow enough or far enough for driving line to start, that's no different than logging a 15 minute break on paper when it only took you 8 mins. You get 7 mins driving time on off duty line. There are benefits to each so long as you manipulate them to benefit you and you're still doing it legal.

    mje and EggoTrucker Thank this.
