I love that crappy little truck stop in Hooks (Sunmart/Texaco). I am a fan of a good cigar and was shocked to see that a little dump like that has a very nice and well stocked cigar humidor. If you are a fan, they actually have pretty good prices for some quality cigars.

got here at winco dc in boise id four hours early. went down to t/a to get dinner and went and park by fence at the dc. pulled in about an hour early and they are now unloading me. hopefully the get me unloaded pretty quick. need to take a ten. got a preplan p/u in jerome id at 1300 tomorrow delivering in carrollton tx on 3/08.at 0800. still running on recaps. pretty sure i can get this done on time. i have about 35 hrs available for the 4 days and should take me 31 hrs to run it. i base all my preplans at 50 mph,but i can usually average 60mph running during daylight hours. i slow it down alittle at night

 

LOL, or as I always told my kids. If everyone around you is a jerk, you are probably looking the wrong direction.

 

Tried to pull out this morning with that little red lite, no go, 5mph. Now sitting waiting on a tow to get me 12 mimles. While sleeping, was sent a pplan, pu at the Kenworth Dealer in Texarkana. Finally removed at about 1:30 this morning. I guess that someone saw that I was also broke down. And for some reason, someone pushed my PTA up from 1430 today until 0700 today

 

wow...that sucks a tow is expensive...is the dealer going to cover that?....hope so

 

Swift had them bill the tow to them. We will see what happens now. Also when arrived there was already a work order written up. We will see where that goes.

How about a truck and trailer with a load going home. Now just waiting to find out if have to go to the hotel tonight. Already pushed out my home time until the 11th of March. Can not afford to go home in the middle of the week with pay ending on a Wednesday.
