That's complete BS on their part. They should be providing you with a ride home at least.

This kind of crap is why I'm glad I quit. This shows where the company is headed. After 3 years they fire a driver for their mistake.

Yeah they said they get me a greyhound but asked if i can find a ride to the bus station. I laughed at them. Then they said they mail me my stuff after they recover the truck what a bunch of bull id never see any of my stuff and then they would probly try to get me with abandonment as i was under a load

If I was close enough to a terminal I would just take the truck there. Then pack up your stuff and leave.

It's going good so far. I've made more in the last 2 paychecks than I have in any 1 of my last 3 months at SNI.

Im nowhere near one lol i thought about just bobtailing home but then i get charged with grand theft auto or something. I called ooida and they said that its legal for them to leave me in middle of nowhere but unenthical and inhumane.

That sounds good maybe ill give them a try. Thought about just buyin my dads truck and going o/o. But if i do that i wanna run teams

I agree that what they did is wrong. They could have at least routed you to your home OC. Especially when it was their mistake.

If you come to Maverick feel free to give them my truck number. I would be more than happy to receive a referral bonus.

A reckless driving ticket isn't like a speeding ticket. It is very serious. It's in the category of aggrevation, or road rage. You do not want this on your record at any time. Insurance won't back the company for that driver.

I have always had a preplan before delivering a load. They messed up my first home time by 1 day but I agreed to it because it was a load that took me directly through the house so I didn't have any OOR miles. No other negatives so far. From what I've heard though my home time issue last week is not a common occurance. Overall the company is great. The people in the office actually seem to care about the drivers. On top of it, the pay is awesome.

We also are given the freedom to do the job as we see fit. I can stop for fuel when and where I want. As long as it's a Pilot or Flying J. I can take the route I want as long as I keep it within 10% of paid miles. No micro managing me.

All of the tractors are 3 yrs or newer. Equipment is well maintained.

If you don't want to do flatbed there is reefers as well. They start at 40cpm.
