Lol, thats my poison too, lol.

We found a load from Wichita to Ft Worth pretty quick. Dunnage and Pallets from a Miller distributor back to the brewery in Ft. Worth.

This Coke load heads back to El Paso but they're sending me a relay with a local driver bound for Virginia. Id rather do that than backtrack to El Paso then head right out again.

I went to Coke in Albuquerque about two years ago, parked in the driveway because I had a 4 A.M. loading time ( knew i would be waiting a while so i wanted to get my 10 off) Woke up at 3:45 pulled in the gate, got my door, made breakfast then needed my morning toilet session. By then there were 10 other trucks there waiting to load, it was about 6:00. I went to the office to ask where the driver restroom was, THEY DO NOT ALLOW DRIVERS TO USE THEIR RESTROOM! That bottling plant is on Unser road 2 miles from the nearest other building. The shipper said if I leave I would be considered late for my appointment and they would put me in the back of the line when I get back. He expected I would be loaded after lunch at noon if I left. I asked when he expected I would be loaded if I stay (and hold my drivers daily "log") he said probably 8 A.M. Ended up being about 9. I really considered leaving a gift between the drive tires of one of their local trucks.

Ill give you that, I remember when I was in High School about 15 years ago, we were taught that tapwater in LA had already been drank by at least three people.... It made me glad to live out in the country. (We have always used water filtration, even though we get our water tested every couple of years. Our main issue out here is calcium causing hard water.)

I think it depends entirely on the location and who you talk to. The Coke plant in El Paso has a driver's lounge as I recall (haven't been there in forever), so did the plant in San Antonio. The Coke plant in McAllen, TX didn't allow drivers to use their restroom but the unloader told me how to get to it by hugging the wall around the stacks, thereby avoiding the cameras and if anyone stopped me, he never told me I could use it.

I dropped at the Coke plant in Corpus Christi, TX as well but wasn't there long enough to need the restroom, I was in and out in an hour.

The lady in charge of the loading in Dallas was a real sweetheart, I doubt she'd have told me no for using the bathroom.
