Roehl Driver Check In

Waiting on my hon load to get finished, pretty good one to, staples in KC, petro ts in salina ks, and some furniture store in colby ks.

 

Getting unloaded in Hammond la then off the Zachery la GP I assume for jville

 

25 miles from cons, have to wait until noon tomorrow to deliver. I tried to get it done today, but a few hours ago got QC message, tomorrow. Yay. So I'm at J xt 57 I-435 KC.

 

One thing about motorcycles, be very sure you want one, I thought I wanted one and once I got it, it was fun for the first few months, and now it just sits in the garage, I still ride it on occasion but just around the house, just not as great as I thought it would be, its nice to have friends to ride with too, so if you have that then it wont be to bad, but just wanted to throw that in there just as a heads up.
Bayle, im heading to a staples warehouse in KC, wont be to far from you if your still there. And congrats to your dad on his harley.

 

I'm here until about 10 am tomorrow. And my dad had motorcycles before he married my mother over 30 years ago. Same ol story I guess. Now kids are all gone getting older etc... He has plenty of guys at work to ride with, plus his second house in Vermont to go to, and his fly fishing.

 

Parked comfortably at casino..huge lot..4 trucks..friends picking me up after work. Slept in, nice breakfast, did some house cleaning. Called fm..next out sat morning. Met treefork and a lot of roehl drivers the past few days. Received a lot of support and good conversation. Really enjoying this thus far. I did try the truckstop last night but had two tight spots and it was raining and dark. I would have been goaling about fifty times there lol. Two loads completed...still learning and all is well.

 

Tight, gets less tight with experience.

 

With time you wont even think twice about a tight parking spot. As long as its a parking spot big enough for my truck to fit in it and the end of the day, i will get it in the spot.

Than again if i am really lazy and know ill be leaveing well after most of the people leave ill nose in.

 

Ha...i could have nosed in but i did not want to be that guy...

 

Hell i nose in if iam next to a reefer, no frigen way iam listening to that crap.
