    To be honest .......i was thinking along those lines.:biggrin_25525:


    Actually,combines are one off the few loads that allowed to be demisseble(did i spell that right?) overhere.
    the head at the front and the combine behind(max lenght off the head around 25" to 28",any longer it is also delivered seperate)

    Yes, that one was about 34k. I've hauled heads that are 40 footers.

    i did a 1" tube 50ft one time 1780 miles for a plant it was 98lbs hardest part was trying to tie it down it had to lay flat

    Speaking of moving combines, I liked the setup we had for custom harvesting. Truck, combine, hopper, and head all in one shot.

    The guy I worked for had double header trailers, I did one like that with a 40ft Timpte

    We pulled a set up like that with 32' hoppers.

    We had single header trailers we pulled behind our service trucks.
