whaaaa?! That's awesome, you're my hero of the day!

(waterloo ia -- had a nice challenge trying to jackknife the trailer into a dock on a sheet of ice. Just when I thought I had it, the front tires would start sliding and ruin the trailer-dock angle... Finally got it after 15-20 minutes and felt like thumping my chest and letting out a jungle cry. Glad I didn't because the gal from tsc came out slipping & sliding on the forklift getting it done & just put me to shame.

Wow this form is dieing. Just reading and ill give my 2 cents over the last 2 pages for anyone looking at Conway.

2 sides to every story the Surfer Joe side and the Mustang970 side this time. I NO LONGER work for Conway and will say that Mustang has some kinda sweet gig worked out and probably knows how to play the game at Conway. newbies won't be able to jump right on said great gig BUT after reading both guys posts I would say the truth is somewhere In between BUT not in the middle if Surfer Joe is at 1 on a scale and Mustang970 is at 10 I, a guy who NO LONGER WORKS AT CONWAY would say the truth to how it will be if you do your job is an 8.5 or 9. Not a bad company, pay is mediocre but on the high end for big carriers and the B.S. at Conway is minimal.

Im out for another 3 weeks or so then will check back in.

2800 miles last week, it'll be a touch over 3000 this week. I'm hopeful the trend will continue...

I understand there are faults with every company, but its a matter if your can deal with them, and if there are too many then its really not worth it. Lonewolf4ad there are hiring me on the mid south regional, i dont know if thats the same regional your are on but was just wondering if you have talked to any of the drivers over there and how they are doing.

company driver. But it loks like I'll have to have this load relayed the rest of the way - losing 1600 miles :( Back in the shop again, the tailpipe smoking has progressed to near continuous and it forces parked regens every 600 miles...

How do I get a new truck? I dint care if it is 3 different shades of pink with 1000000 miles as long as it'll go at least 15,000 miles between overnight shop visits. Thats not too much to ask, is it?

Ask your FM or the guys in truck assignment. There is a standard for getting a new ride, I just don't want to misquote it. All managers should know. Good luck man!

Ahhh, back in the I-10 Fleet....Don't think I have seen I-10 since before Christmas...long overdue! Tallahassee tonight, windows open, Buffet on the XM, nobody is idling, not a refer around, wearing shorts, and the big-boy pants are put away. Deliver in Miami sunday afternoon so will surprise the family for lunch tomorrow. Then back later in the week for some home time.
