.81 AFTER fuel and TOLLS is not terrible for this time of year, if it was decent miles, that aint going to cut it at 200 miles for all day. if you did 1400 miles and cleared .81 and did 700 miles a day, thats over 500 a day after fuel. Feb is the worst month for us too so it should go up.

If you are a team, why did you wait until Friday to unload, why not Thursday? Why are you waiting for another, you are self dispatched?

I am slowly getting the hang of this. Called receiver to make sure appointment time was confirmed and if any lumper fees. Already found a load out of Utah once I am empty Monday morning. Its a cheap load but gets me in a better paying area. Now I am looking for a good paying load either Wednesday or Thursday out of the area I will be in next.

Most of the time until you develop some relationships with agents one of you should either be on the load board or cold calling agents you find by doing lane matches. You need to learn the freight lanes that are most productive for teams. You need to be extremly pro active when doing your own load planning and you need to think ahead. Doing well means selling your business and that means alot of cold calling at least at the start. With the nature of team freight I would imagine the majority of it never makes it to the board. Most of the best work in any LS division will never see the board so developing relationships is important. The money is here you just need to find it.
