What is your MPG?

    No I don't short tank, I don't buy my own fuel, etc etc etc and I DONT LIE ABOUT ANYTHING IN HERE. I cant speak of other drivers MPG but what I posted was what I got that week.

    Lol, no i'm down too. A lot more inclement weather this quarter compared to last. Snow, rain, wind, and not extreme cold but a lot more outside air temp below 41 degrees.

    I forgot to bring home my notebook with my sunday beep and fuelstops but vhughes, there weren't any tanks this week over 8.0 w I n d y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok, so whats the deal with the auto trans? Ive read, on here, to shift manually to get better mpg's. They're saying at the Rock to "not put the trans in manual." Can anybody shed light on this for me? With the new PFP coming in, I want to do the best I can in ALL aspects of this job.

    I'm not aware of any policy about not putting the truck into manual... I use automatic most of the time, but the option is there to switch to manual if you want. And no one is gonna tell me I can't do that on a steep downgrade lol... Maybe they mean don't do it during the initial road test or something? I'd ask for clarification on that, because I never met anyone who go into trouble for shifting manually. A lot of guys do it 100% of the time.
