Currently I have the tanker and hazmat endorsements. Is the doubles/triples endorsement redundant or should I just get it?

They are easy to drive if you know how to. Better not get into the doubles if you are asking questions like this.

Why waste time and money getting endorsements if you have no immediate use for them?

They arent that big of a pain. Pretty easy to drive around and a Sper B Train is my favorite set of joints to pull. I wouldnt waste my time with this endorsement until you need it.

Because he might just need it later it's easier to get it now then to try and go back and get it later

I agree. Why wait until you actually need it to run out and get it. If you can get it now without much inconvenience I say why not.

I got all my endorsements because it made sense. $66 bucks whether I got one or all endorsements. It would be silly to pay to get one or two endorsements and then have to pay another fee to get additional endorsements.

Don't see why you would call them complete newbies. It is a simple question about getting an endorsement. I would go ahead and get it now and not worry about it at the last minute. This way you can tell your boss you have it and you would like to get some training if possible. As far as pulling them it is not that bad just looks like back pup is all over road from looking in mirror.

if you can pass the test for them do it, even if you don't need it now it will always be with you. The pain in the but can be hooking them up at times. But they can be fun to drive too.
