Never got final settlement

Hoosier Tradewinds, stopped payment on all our checks, did not pay us for any work performed. Ran whole month of January for free basically. Never got a settlement sheet after turni g in truck. Be warned!

Oh as for overhead, for starters, they take out .10 per mile for escrow and .13 per mile for maintenance and there is not a up to dollar amount it's something that will always come out. As for working a month with no pay, this is the rest of the story, we did get paid, which they stopped payment on the checks, and caused my bank account to be overdrawn a couple thousand. I never got any money, not my escrow or even a final settlement. The truck was turned in 100% better than we got it. If you get a paper check from this company don't plan on cashing it at Walmart who cashes millions of company checks, they won't take them....bad check history. They also cheat miles and only pay a portion of the fuel surcharge. We ran for a few weeks when we caught the mileage shortage on a load, when we back tracked all our loads each one was shorted. They say they use pcmiler, they don't, that is what we used and found the shortage. It took aprox a week to get back to turn in truck, thus the month of January and with stopped checks and not receiving a check for the last week worked, no we did not get paid at all. But I am just a stranger, you don't know me, but I do fear God, and would not use his word to entice people only to cheat them, and as God is my witness I am NOT LIEING, he knows...the all seeing eye. Good luck if they are the path you choose, maybe it'll work out.

Yep and shame on us cause we did not do our homework. Lived and learnt, won't do that again, had we researched we would've seen the red flag and stayed away. All we can do now is warn others so they don't suffer financially like us.
