Port drivers can be company, L/O or O/O. I believe they are payed percentage of the load as well. Our port division is growing and the company is making their dent on that part of trucking. Good luck with what ever you get.

Knight has been doing some hocus pocus with the fuel mileage numbers, so much so, that I'm not sure what kind of lies they are coming up with to say it's correct. Between some terminals closing, and market managers tanking accounts on purpose to break contracts, I have no idea what in the hell the office people are doing right now.

What are you talking about? Terminals closing? which one(s)? Also account managers don't tank contracts on purpose. Its lack of knowledge on their part or the customers part. I was on a water account and the customer just stopped giving us loads. When I questioned what happened, I was told that the problem was everyone was happy. That was BS. If everyone is happy then things should have kept going but for some reason the customer probably wrote in the contract that they can end it at anytime for any reason. Carrier A is charging too much so lets go with carrier B for 50$ less a load.

Came off of hometime on tuesday morning. Got 2 small local runs a total 300 miles together. Then got another run that day going from Dover, De to Groveport, Ohio delivering on Thursday morning. Picked up another load out of Madison, Ohio going to Allentown, Pa delivered this morning. Picked up another load at Nestle Waters in Breingsville, Pa going to Sterling, IL delivering at 00:01 Sunday. Hoping over to Iowa and grabbing a load going to Mass for a 03:05 delivery Tuesday morning. Nice one week run of 3400 miles just coming off 3 days at home. Now if i want to start the week on Sunday then this week will be looking great with this 1200 mile run. Either way i look at it Knight is keeping me running with some #### good loads.

What's with the oddball delivery time? What shipper/receiver is even open at that hour and on Sunday?

Boise is closed, merged with Utah because they lost all the sugar loads and the head guy called it quits, so they lost the White Satin account along with some others. Then there was another East Coast terminal that closed as well. And yes, the account managers are tanking accounts as well, I watched two half a million dollar a year contracts go up in flames because they stopped servicing the customer.

The best part is nobody in the offices care. And there is nobody in the company that you can contact to say "hey, this customer is complaining because of this, and the office people don't care." I mean we started blowing Ikea loads for a reason as well, then again, nobody cried about loosing that account.

What East Coast Terminal closed? If you know all this information about Knight please tell us what Terminal closed. As far as i know no terminals have closed or will be closing. As for Ikea we still do Ikea loads out of Burlington, NJ. I just did three runs out of there 3 weeks ago. Mis-informed?

I know Werner doesn't care about some of their accounts. Wisconsin is a place that many old trailers go to die. In one place the receiver was complaining about all those ancient Werner trailers abandoned in their yard for years. Many 3 digit trailers and one 2 digit trailer! If I was low on hours and the dispatchers have done me wrong again, I would pick up one of those ancient trailers and get it legal enough to roll again at the nearby truck stop. Over 5 years I had removed about a dozen of those old trailers, most of them. If that was a receiver that I would have preferred to see go out of business, I would have left them there. But they behaved professionally enough. So trucking companies, treat your customers right and don't ignore them.

Why would werner care about cust, they dont even care about their drivers. If that receiver was complaining abut those trls then he should be calling Werner and if they dont care then either sell those trls or send them to the nearest scrap yard.
