If you wanna swap ECM do it but swap small IMMO chip from key. Mercedes use megamos

I can disable immo on MR, but there is immo bit in FR. And it is not easy deal.

It is amazing, but on all US MBE engines no immo) LOL

first of all 0 40 24 - it is bad back up processor. Engine runs with back up processor when flash memory is bad ore main processor fails (SAK167) and engine runs at 1200 rpm to limp home.

When this processor is bad engine stalls when flash is bad

Immobilizer problems.

Mercedes uses starter wire to transper code. And I think you had problem with starter and starter relay
