500k sounds low for a 06.Research maintenance records.Talk to other lease drivers, and mechanics give their opinion.do a compression check.feel the oil on the stick, check experation on batteries,u don't want them to blow up,believe Me it happend to Me.Hope this helps....truck odometer may have turned. Be careful, get the facts....check wires and routing everthing should be secure, brakes etc.....

From Schneider with 520,000 miles on dashboard, not a good idea. Go online and check out companies that do like a pay so much down purchase, TRUCKSFORYOU.com is a starter for ya. GOOD LUCK my friend.

As far as used tractors goes Ryder has a better selection of better maintained trucks .buddyvuk Thanks this. -
As long as you check out the truck, there is no reason you can't find a decent truck with Schneider. I would ask for maintenance records and have both a dyno and oil analysis done, once you find the truck you want to buy.

I tried to buy from Schneider in Fontana. They wouldn't let me take the truck off their property for a dyno/mechanical inspection. I won't buy a truck I can't dyno, so no Schneider truck. I also thought the prices were way too high, higher than what the same trucks were being sold for by dealers at the time. I ended up flying to Kentuck for the truck I eventually bought.
