The way I see it is most companies don't allow it....I didn't ask, they didn't say, if ya know what I mean.
I've carried many places that have "no gun" signs. Ive been informed by LEO that the sign's can be "overlooked" so they must ask me to leave and if I don't then LEO can step in. As far as Im concerned its CONCEALED for a reason. No one knows its there so I never get questioned.
With all the danger out there do you guys keep anything to protect yourselves?

In some states, signs are non enforceable. In others, they are. Ohio, I believe, is a state where "no weapons" signs or similar ARE enforceable. In PA, they are not.
Again, it is paramount that you know and understand the laws of the states you are traveling and carrying in.
To SheepDog, its not a matter of taking the country back. No one has taken it away from us. WE have let it go. Now we just need to dispossess the uncounted numbers of Liberals and Progressives WE have allowed to take over OUR country....Joetro, SheepDog and Harbinger117 Thank this. -
Yes, I guess I should of clarified, I am in PA so the signs are not enforceable.SheepDog Thanks this.

The signs might not be enforceable, but before you get all chested out.
Consider that you would be charged with criminal trespass instead of a weapons charge.
I wonder how many have considered that.
I just love how people just state they will do what they want with no consideration of the impact it really has on them or those around them. -
Having spoken with an Attorney fully versed in PA gun law, allow me to pass along the information I received.
No weapons signs are not legally enforceable in PA. If a gun carrier is found upon private property, the property owner has the right to request the gun carrier to leave the property. ONLY UPON REFUSAL TO LEAVE ON THE PART OF THE GUN CARRIER is there now a case of criminal trespass, not before.
For example, I walk into the local WalMart Open carrying my gun on my hip. Some overzealous employee sees my gun and calls the cops. Now, understand I have not broken any laws, as PA is an open carry state and WalMart corporate policy is to abide by the laws of the state concerning customers carrying firearms. So the cops show up, manager gets involved, employee gets educated, and I get to complete my shopping trip. BUT, if the manager in this situation were to ask me to leave and I refused, then we have a case of criminal trespass. ONLY AFTER the manager (or property owner) requests someone to leave is criminal trespass an issue. And that applies to anyone, not just people carrying guns.
I would like to add that I do not see how my decision to carry a gun has any impact upon the lives of those around me. I do not have one of those magical guns that jumps out of its retention holster and starts spraying bullets everywhere. Furthermore, I have been thoroughly investigated by the local sheriff's office in the process of gaining my PA License to Carry Firearms, and have undergone repeated Pennsylvania Instant Check Systems background checks in my various handgun purchases. I have been repeatedly judged as a responsible citizen, and am not in any way prohibited from owning, carrying, or if necessary using a firearm. -
I believe at one point in history, doing what one wanted was not entirely frowned upon. Now its all about what others want others to do. Screw em. I'm not on this planet to please anyone

I've seen a guy while in Texas open-carry. I thought maybe he was a cop or someone like that just out of uniform but I believe it was just a driver thinking Texas is some cowboy state. Nah, if you want cowboy, go to Wyoming. Texas right now is not an open-carry state. Believe they are trying to debate that right now but to carry ya gotta conceal.
My question is did the Pilot staff just care to say anything or did they not notice a big honking gun in plain sight?

You are a hoot. -
it only becomes criminal tresspass if your asked to leave and do not comply with that request , some places you have to be asked more than once before a trespass charge will stick and you will be arrestedSheepDog Thanks this.
