I've had pizza delivered to the truck several times. I use either the Dominos or Pizza Hut app on my smart phone to do it. Under special comments I describe the truck and where I'm parked. In one rare instance where I had to spend the night at a shipper, they let me bobtail up the street to a local pizza place.

...and in Sayre PA I had pizza delivered to my truck late one night and the delivery driver was really cute. Despite being very tired and very hungry I still managed to flirt with the guy. *giggle*

I'm getting sick of the Jimmy John drivers cutting me off and not using their signals trying to do their freaky fast deliveries. They are all over downtown St Paul.

Didn't they outlaw pizza places doing those fast guaranteed delivery times? Freaky fast is about the same thing.

I was at the newspaper office where they unloaded my trailer of rolled paper in the parking lot.

Where's your Nomac load going? How did you get the load? Haul for them all the time in Oklahoma.

haha They're not freaky fast in St. Charles, MO. Had a flat spot on a trlr. I was picking up so I took it to the repair shop just down the road. I ordered the sammich while the service writer was trying to get ahold of our breakdown dept. The shop got the p.o., changed the tire and had me move up the front of the lot while I waited on delivery. I was there an extra 10 to 15 minutes waiting on the delivery. I told the driver I was glad my house was not on fire (like in the commercial)...she had heard that one before:biggrin_25523:

You've got to watch out for those delivery drivers...for all practical purposes, they are uninsured motorists when they are "on duty". Sure, they have insurance...the restaurants require it....but most of them don't realize that their "personal" car insurance policy won't cover them while using the vehicle for "commercial" purposes. As soon as that delivery sign is placed on the vehicle, their car insurance is void and their insurance company will deny any claims. They need a commercial policy, but that costs money which most of them just don't want to spend.
