I'm sure you're going to be a real toast to humanity after you ruin your back, can't work anymore, eat til you look like a balloon, and need a crane to roll you over.

From what I have read, some jobs are no touch. Maybe you ought to think about moving on up. I used to have a non trucking job that required frequent loading/unloading of 80+lbs and I HATED it. Too many busted ligaments, torn muscles, tweaks, strains, bent arms/legs to ever want another heavy lifting job. So if I can avoid it, then, I will.

When you are young humping freight is no big deal. But you do not stay young for long. Diversify your experience so that when you are like that worn out truck and you will be,you have options.

What is this country coming to? Seems like nobody wants to work. Or if they do they don't want to work hard. I like unloading my truck. Especially when I'm able to make what a lumper would make. But I even have stops that are ground drops that are sample orders. The people at the places are shocked when I'm out there knocking on there door looking for a hand truck so I can unload. I guess there used to drivers not touching anything.
