The worst bridge for me to cross (as a passenger!) is the New River Gorge Bridge in WV.... :biggrin_25524:

Commodore Barry bridge on RT322 over the Delaware in Philly is always fun, especially when they are doing construction. And it's a windy day. And you're empty. And another truck decides to pass you. In the rain. At night. And opposing traffic has it's high beams on. WHEEEEEEE

I'm deathly afraid of heights and many bridges that when hubby and I travel across this bridge, I have to take a nerve Rx - seriously. The first time I went over this bridge with hubby was in March of 2011 - it was dusk, VERY foggy and you could barely see the guardrail. I was ok, because I couldn't see the bottom. However, the next day was bright, clear and sunny and I had NO meds. Needless to say, by the time we got to the other side, he had to pry me off the ceiling of the truck.

Wv girl , you need to go back , one day a year the state closes that bridge , for bungee jumping! We can strap you to a tree off to the side , so you feel safe . And watch them nuts jump off that thing! You be on firm ground.

That's okay, sdaniel - I'll pass on that. If I was supposed to leap off tall bridges/buildings/cliffs with bungee ropes strapped to my ankles, I would have been born with 'em attached. The only "flying" I'm doing is in a metal bird - and then there BETTER be some vodka on tap, too. :biggrin_25525:

I was talking about you only watching . That's why I was talking about strapping you to the tree. No chance of falling . May help the fear?
