So who uses the wifi offered by truck stops.
    Are you happy with it
or hate yourself for paying for a subscription and come to find out you are having nothing but troubles trying to log on, no matter how far or how close you are to the building?
Feel free to vent here, and feel free to name the truck stops. Mind you TA/ Petro and Pilot Flying J use the same wifi company.
Personal, I have the Verizon Mifi card, and couldn't be happier. USA BASED CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Have internet, where ever I have a cell signal.

I try to log in to see how that goes, if it's slow, it will be slow after you pay, too.Unsecured and vulnerable, the air card was secure.

Some are better than others, some are useless even for surfing, and downloads are just impossible.

Not done much with it, or with the air card, I'm there to take a break and leave, not much reason to hang out at a truck stop when I could be home.

If you try to use it in the evening, most of them are slow, try a different time of day. It's kind of like most truck stops, when they are full, it's hard to do anything, but when numbers are down, everything usually goes better, including less time waiting.

I only used truckstop wifi one time because I forgot my hotspot. It was at the truckstop just north of Wichita and it didn't work very well.
