I seen this on the news night before last, she had a can on too?? I thought it was just the chassis?? ####.... Them Can drivers are crazy around here, I don't want to beat on them too bad, if things don't improve or pick up what I'm doing now I might have to result in being an Can hauler "Yikes"

Yea, she was hauling one of those cargo containers. She's lucky to get out of there in one piece, that's for sure!

It looks cool, but at the same time I'd probably be losing it driving over that! The Skyway was a pretty long crazy bridge to go over as well. Did that back in November both directions.

Here's one of our bridges [IMG] Not as scary as that WV one! People jump off this one, and its a 50/50 shot on whether or not they survive.

The old bridges we used to have here were extremely narrow and shake when you drove on them. They scored something like a 4 out of 100 on safety before they were replaced by the other one. Near the end of the old bridges existence, people walked on them and were taking bolts and stuff out of it for souvenirs! My ex used to take alternate routes to avoid going over those bridges.

I used to have a recurring dream of driving off the side of bridges when I was younger. But I think the scariest ride I was ever on was at the Colorado National Monument... my ex kept taking the 15mph corners pretty quick, and there were NO guard rails on a lot of those curves. If I wanted to go off the side of a cliff, I'd do it myself thank you!

I'd probably crap myself if I were hanging over the side of any bridge in a cab!

If you look at the damage to the fairings on the rear of the cab, one would assume that there was a container on the chassis before it went over the side. And since both sides are damaged, she had to have been doing something VERY wrong.

Isn't that the bridge that costs like $40 to cross with a truck?

You'd have to ask Tara - I haven't a clue. I don't remember seeing any tolls and I never paid to cross it (in a passenger vehicle) so I'm not sure. It really is pretty to cross - you can see for miles in each direction.

No tolls on that bridge. I don't even know if there's a toll road in the state lol.

The views definitely are nice driving over it. :) The waterways are one of the only things I like about here. I walked up to the center of it one time shortly after it opened on the pedestrian path. That determined that I'd never do the Bridge Run LOL. I could barely push the clutch in when I got back to the car my legs hurt so bad.

    truckon and WV_Daddys_Girl Thank this.

I never got a chance to actually walk across it - although I wanted to! I wasn't there long enough to do much of anything (sadly).
