Are there any O/Os that operate 24-26' box trucks for any Of these companies. I'm in NY but I imagine most metro areas would be similar.
Ceva
Cory 1 Choice
Home Delivery America (Bob's discount)
Excel
Select Express
Urban Express (Ikea delivery company)
Everready Express
Any info on any of these guys would be much appreciated. I leaning for towards Ceva, Excel and Ever Ready Express since they seem to cater more business deliveries than home/furniture/appliance. The side benefit of the business deliveries is that its more suited to a 1 man operation. The home delivery companies all require a 2 man team. Thanks.

Let me know how you make out....i'm in north jersey and looking also......thanks!!!!

your best bet would be to check like craigslist, or monster
-
Yea, I've seen them on CL and a few other spots (Thanks). I was hoping to find someone thats actually doing it or tried it. I spoke to one guy from from Ever Ready Express. I was working at a Sephora after hours and they were delivering the store inventory. They dropped 2 pallets, the employees took the boxes off and he was gone in 15-20 minutes. I rather something along those lines as opposed to lugging a refrigerator 5 flights of stairs.
Ceva seemingly does much of the same. Curbside business delivery, they delivered glass case for a Petco in Howard Beach. -

Check the normal websites for listings.
A few good ideas:
Monter.com
Craigslist.com
Indeed.com (I highly recommend this one)
And you can always just google "driving jobs in -insert your area here-" and refine the search to box trucks.
And of course, pounding ground with a few copies of a resume, looking spiffy, never hurt anyone. -
Ceva FM
55% + FSC- But they're adding any trucks right now. He took my info and said that would probably be changing soon thou. I'm still trying to get a hold of someone at these other companies. -
Thanks for the info. I'm more looking to contract (O/O) with them than work for them.

Craiglist might be ur best bets

I honestly think nothing is better than Craigslist. I found another 2-3 lead that I'm checking on in the morning. I'll post what I find out.
Thanks everyone.DragonDriver305 Thanks this.
