Yer the only idiot who thinks yer going to get a job in a 379 haulin 75 mph n be able to keep a job. Its to bad you obviously have no clue as to how a truck owner is profitable in this business. Goess what...high speed = more fuel = less profit. You should have been able to figure that out but obviously not with your failed attempt at being an O/O. Leave trucking up to the professionals is the best advise I can give you...
truckon Thanks this. -
something tells me this treetrimmer guy is just trying to pull our leg. he cant be serious.
-
I was wondering that, but there are some people out there that are just so far off in la la land that they just 'seem' like they are kidding...
-
i shouldnt explain myself to you but oh well i guess i have to...for no reason besides to waste my time typing. I did not fail at O/O i stopped doing it because the fuel prices and i was doing quite well at it but the company i worked for at the time was ####. So i decided to get a company job instead. I know that running at 75 wears more on the truck and I also know that a 5.5mpg in a 379 isnt very profitable for anyone. But I have seen companys that still do it. with the same pay as i get now.
Kimrad out of amarillo,tx
Fadiga trucking out of iowa<<illegal runner
and more but they are not in okc that is why i ask, but since you have decided to get on my topic with no helpful advice i would greatly appreciate it if you would simply not speak unless spoken to. Since you have decided that I am a failure and blah blah blah why dont you take your retarded comments and shove em pal. that is all. -
LOL...well I assume I was being spoken to with the last post. You quit because you couldnt control your fuel costs with higher prices and you couldnt be bothered to seek a descent company. If ya take a good look around, the only companies that run 75+ are shady outfits...so you will fit in nicely...it would be a shame to see ya go down with the company instead of gaining some education n learning what is better...
truckon Thanks this. -
Treetrimmer... were you really an actual O/O or just a lease driver? Remember Stevens will not let you buy one of their trucks until you complete a lease with them so I am doubting you actually owned the truck or were even purchasing it.
Just an observation....Last edited: Apr 15, 2013

Just wondering if this was before or after your stint as an O/O? -
Hahahaha...this guy sounds like a total moron. Maybe someone should let Crete know about his abandonment at Stevens if he wants to be honest n 'not fulla crap'. Treetrimmer, its guys like you that make it hard for an O/O to hire anybody. They are nice to yer face but when they are outa sight that wanna be the hero without a worry in the world...
