Ya know, I just need to put this out there...Some days I am thankful for the harping they do in Dallas at the safety department and the training we get. Seems pretty lame at times to hear it but most of it is common sense that we need to hear over and over at times. Avoids situations like the CRE truck I saw at the truck stop yesterday with his entire front end ripped to shreds and his radiator laying flat on the ground in front of the truck. Yup parked on the end. I have made a couple stupid moves in my day and dreaded the appearance in front of WT and HW but ya know what, the safety dept does keep us safe and wont allow us to get into anything heavier than we can handle we just gotta communicate with em. Yes the phone system still sucks but I have noticed that the response time on hold is not as great, and have also noticed that more are willing to help out. Yes they even give their names for the most part lol. Road rescue has made some significant improvement as well. Nope it aint Utopia but its comfortable for now.

 

Even with the huge list of items that I handed them to fix on the truck I bought, the shop got it ALL done in one day. They were on it like crazy first thing in the AM.

Now just have to hit the bodyshop tomorrow to fix the last 2 items.

Im impressed.

 

I have been on the phone with road rescue at least three times in the past four weeks... I must agree, the response time is significantly improved.

 

Left out bright and early at 6am this morning. Was kinda sad but everyone was nice heading out...
