I would walk across the frwy, eat at In n Out. Then I would go to the mall, find a bench or sofa and just people watch for a few hours.

OK I am stumped and so are the experts obviously so here goes. Any time the temp outside is above say 70 degrees my apu takes a dump. I get an ACS code/ I have had it in the Dallas yard shop several times for this, as well as TK twice now. No one can seem to fix it. Has anyone had this same or similar issue wih their APU? I am tired of wasting time to get it fixed yet it remains unfixed. Sitting here 93 degrees outside having to Idle my truck in Ontario sucks not just for what its costing me in fuel, but the potential idling fine if the cops come sniffin around.

Don't understand the reasoning here... The powers that be schedule his pre-alliance training for Monday, schedule a load to take to the yard that picks up in IL on Friday at 10pm. But when he gets there, the shipper says load wont be ready until Sunday 9am (huh wha?)... Instead of letting it ride, dispatch takes off the load that picks up on Sunday going to the yard and assigns a load that picks up at the same place going to Pueblo, CO delivering Monday at 11am, and route him to Dodge City as his fuel stop saying they will have a repower for him to get to the yard on time. Needless to say, that repower never happened. He got a reset he didn't need, in a place and on a load that only makes sense if you have a corporate mindset, wear a little aluminum hat and squint sideways a lot.

Reading several years worth of Aviary these past months have prepared me for the entertainment of what can and does happen at Stevens. This still threw me for a loop. I can put on the corporate hat if need be, but even the corporate mindset on this one baffles me.

Go back and read past Dilbert comics...that will prepare you for the corporate world.

HA! I've been part of the corporate world for a few decades now, and have determined there is no amount of preparation that could be considered enough for "corporate common sense". Better to suit up, strap in, and hang on tight. Bette Davis said it best, "Fasten your seat belts, its gonna be a bumpy night"

Sitting in Otay Mesa waiting for a dispatch. 6.5 hourson my 14. I letmy dm know the clock is ticking and he says "you should be in the sleeper waiting for dispatch." Ok, but that has no effect on the 14 hour clock until you hit8 hours of break, at which time I'm headed for bed not driving. I just hatexwasting half a day. I got all my drops done by 1300 today and my last appetite wasn't until 1600. Got to deliver to Sea World today. That place is NOT designed for 53 footers. They have one dock and you have to blind side in. I don't know that it's possible to get flush to the dock either.

The storms across wyoming has freight all screwed up.... trucks stacked up on the coasts, waiting to get loaded. I80 was closed for 4 days across wyoming... they actually sent up a 400 mile detour to get traffic moving again.

Well I'm on my way to Laredo, maybe that means there will be a load out waiting.
