QC violation reports -- engine overspeed

    Does anyone ever look at theirs? It lists the amount of time I've spent over 1800rpm as a violation, yet the maxxforce engine manual in my truck says to run the jakes up to 2100rpm... When grossing 80, I'd certainly love to use that extra 200-250rpm as the engineers intended, but I don't want to violate company policy...

    Never had it mentioned to me anywhere. Not even at Con-way.

    Not what their looking at..... HOS and speed are the mains along with sudden deceleration and lateral swings if hooked up. ( Prolly is )

    I promise, they will let you know if they are unhappy.
