Forgetting to set the parking brake on a very slight incline, then starting to walk away from the truck will bring you an interesting moment...

Leaving paperwork (metal certs and BOL) on the flatbed then driving off and realizing it's in the street somewhere. Turned around and saw it in the gutter so I pulled over to retrieve it. :biggrin_25523:

Lesson learned: Keep paperwork in the cab!

I had a guy just go on and on .....I was nice enough but after 15 or 20 minutes.
I had to go ...so I tried to end the conversation and walk off and this guy tries to body block me when I dipped right to leave.......so I had to sneak left quick and quick step out of there .....I felt bad for guy though....I had to go ....literary

i have made many stupid mistakes

1.) I poured hydraulic fluid into the gas tank and once again poured gas into a hydraulic tank..it was on a crane

2.) I called swifts safety dept to tell them their drivers are stupid.

3.) I slammed this trailor in at HEB left, drove about 30 miles and picked up another load and realized I forgot to give them the bills.

4.) I jumped in the hammer lane, had a steer tire blowout caused a huge backup on the highway for about 3 hours.

5.) jumped in the hammer lane got past this guy flipped him off then got a ticket for doing 78 in a 55.

6.) cussed out my company for not paying me then remembered it was wednesday not thursday(long day)

7.) backed up to fast slammed into the dock door and forgot my tv was not on its stand and i had a open bottle of urine..(really bad day)

8.) got stuck under my trailor in the ice took me about 3 hours of rocking it back in forth to get it out.

many many more stupid things have happened but its all good just another day on the road.

Stopped at the designated fuel stop. Drove another 4 hours and stopped for the night. Got out to use the facilities and noticed the fuel cap dangling by it's chain....

Haha, at least it was still there! I remember back in late '07 driving up to UC Santa Barbara in my old Jeep with a friend. We stopped somewhere in Ventura county to refuel and I had a habit of leaving my aftermarket, locking gas cap (without the leash) on my rear tire while I refueled. Of course it was only a matter of time before I forgot to put it on and ended up crushing it. Ended up spending the night in Goleta sleeping in my Jeep because I was paranoid some drunk people would try pour beer in my gas tank or something. lolololol

Well two days ago it took a guy 15 minutes to pull into a tight dock and held up about five truckers and the yard dog. Once he finally got in the door I pulled in the spot next to him in about five seconds without a pullup straight into the dock. He looked at my trailer in amazement how I got it in without any effort.

I could not believe it plus his co driver was out of the truck micromanaging his backing to boot..... Most definetly a rookie
