That's true, we are in our busy season which is Christmas to Independence Day.

I hate my job, it's not even the work, it's the work vs pay, the hours, and not getting any sleep. I'm trying to find something better...

True definitely depends on the terminal. Im actually thinking about going over to Estes and applying for either the linehaul positions they have open right now, or utility. Beats what im doing now.

Estes is a pretty good gig. You can make money on their extraboard, heard drivers clearing 65-70k in their first year. The good thing about foodservice is you can work 4 days and get a wed off and the weekend off every week. Linehaul though you mostly work weekends unless you got a sweet bid. Which is senior guy land.

Seriously??? "A young school guy who doesnt have much experience in choosing a better job"...LOL. Sound's to me like someone couldn't get on with McLane. First off...they require experience. A fresh out of school rookie wouldn't even be considered. Second, if you are lifting with your back...then you would probably deserve for it to go out because only a total moron would unload an entire trailer using his back instead of his legs. But...that's my opinion.

LMAO! Man this is funny. I have never tried to work at mclane I just have seen too many food service guy's back go out. I dont mean any disrespect to anyone I am simply saying I would never want to work for any food service job is all. That job takes a certain type of individual its like tanker driving not everyone would or even can do it.
