Yes they will teach you how to pump in orientation. All the cleaning is done at a tank wash and they will tell you where to go for wash outs. If you do decide to hire on keep us posted would love to hnow how the old company was doing.

 

Once the fittings and stuff have been washed how do they store them to keep them clean between pickups and deliveries

 

tank wash will bag them it is not as sanitary as everyone is led to believe truth be told if everyone knew what went on in we would not eat or drink anything

They told me .345 for 6 months and at 6 month mark you get bumped to .36. Has nothing to do with hazmat cause ur suppose to have it. I alrdy got a hazmat.

 

Btw decided to join oakley. Orientation pay is 300 for 5 days. They are renting me a car to come down. And I get a hotel room to my self. I got a bunch of info they sent me alrdy. Ill see if anythings true. Ill try to post as much as I can but u know this is trucking sometimes I'm just to tired to do it.

You are NOT REQUIRED to have hazmat to work for oakley. It certainly benefits the driver to have hazmat or to get it after hiring on, but Im not sure what this business about "you're supposed to have it" means. I have never needed it with any previous companies I've worked for, so I don't know why I'm "supposed to" have it already.

 

I would start at .34 a mile if I hired on right now without my hazmat. Once I get my hazmat, I would automatically get bumped up to .36 a mile. On hazmat loads, I would get an extra .05 per mile, which means on hazmat loads I would get .41 a mile. Nothing about time was mentioned other than yearly increases, and I don't remember now what he said about those. That's what I was told by a recruiter after he had already reviewed my application.

 

I'm not gonna get into a pissing match. I'm just telling u what she told me and emailed me. If u want a copy let me know ill forward it too you, so either ur getting lied too or I am.

As for hazmat didn't mean to offend u I know for jobs u don't need it co I'm with now doesn't require it either. Yet again I was told at oakley I had to have it no exceptions. Again one of us must be getting lied too.
