Well, those were maybe the best shrimp eggrolls I've ever had. Rather large shrimp for an eggroll & they were FRESH! You know, I may just try to stay clear of the average everyday Chinese buffet. Can't tell you how many times I've had shrimp & thought, 'hmmm, this shrimp isn't very fresh'.

My friend and I were stuck there for 2 hours while waiting for the unload. We were wondering why we use it. CWF doesn't use it but they use outside carriers like crazy. Guessing the union would get mad using non union carriers. The rail yards by me are union though. I get a lot of 309 trailers as well
Squonk I make my own Asian food. Got my rice and whatever meat I use and I cook it with a sauce -

@Skinny, trust me Brooklyn is awful, I dont even know how Cenutry did P/D over there lol. I went upstairs and told dispatch Im gonna be delayed due to shop time, they say tell me when your done, 4 hours later the asst manager is screaming at me that Ive been there too long nd telling me I shouldve told him after a hour. I tell him straight you told me when I was finished, never said to update you. at that point he says ok Ill let it slide today... yea ok... he knew he was wrong. Then after Brooklyn, I had to go to 111. So I had to drive through Brooklyn to the BQE aka Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, which is always a mess and a zoo. have to stay on one side as its 12-4 on the left side in the overhang... 111 I was in and out they have a swithcer on full time who did my drop/hook. From what Ive heard they actually cleaned the place up, has less doors than 136, but is wider, and the yards not as tight(not that it matters, they have switchers on the whole week)
@Squonk, I usually pack with me a special protein shake I make which has some fruit and stuff in it. Usually holds me for quite a bit. Then I normally make a PBJ on double fiber whole wheat. That usually lasts me quite a bit and its fairly cheap and good for you if you use it sparingly. Then I usually make a wrap, yes another extra fiber wrap, usually with either chicken or steak, cheese, spinach, tomato, and whatever sauce/dressing/mustard feel like using for the day. I like the fiber to control my huger out on the road. Im on a bid Im home every day so I dont pack a lot, but average a 11-14 hour day.
@cenutry I just never seen you guys at the rails. I see us, ABF, UPS, UPSF, and a LOT of FedEx. Maybe out west you guys use it a lot. The rai yard can either make or break you while working the two half. If your bob-tailing to get a van, ive done it in under 4 hours. now I have 10 hours for my second trip. Last time I went from my yard there was last week, bob-tail with dolley, by the time i find the trailers, and build then set take time, but still had 9.5 hours for my second trip -
