Excellent Harley, you will enjoy your class there! We tested out on backing this afternoon. 2 of us passed and 2 have to re-do certain parts of it. The other half of the class have spent this week driving. We switch out next week. It's going to be nice to get out of the yard and roll.
Hats off to trainers and instructors. You all don't get paid enough.

Garlicbread56. Sorry bro, but how does this make us a bad company. How was your work history, have u been arrested, how about driving history? Good companies dont hire everyone who.applies.like Swift.
rarudi Thanks this. -
That would be me LOL

Millis' being selective I'm sure is one of many reasons working there is so desirable.

Hey garlicbread, Did they give you a reason why? It would be nice to know the things they don't like. I'm gonna apply there in a few months. I wouldn't give up If you really want to work for them. Try again in a little while they might see that you really want it. In the meantime they arent the only company out there so don't give up on your dream to drive!!

There are only 3 reasons I have seen applications not being approved: Your location, your driving record, your background check.
When I started I was shocked at how many drivers Millis trains every month, but after 1 year I now understand why. My class, in Cartersville, was assigned 14 people to start. 2 were no shows, so we started the class with 12. 2 didn't make it through classroom training, 2 were let go while in their trainer's truck. After 1 year there are 4 left, and one of those (me) has been on the injured list for most of the year(I'll be back in a couple weeks...finally). Of the others... 2 were let go after damaging their truck and others property, 1 made a big oops and got let go and 1 got justifiably (imo) pissed off and left. Now, take all the cost of what I listed above and to show for it Millis has 3 regional and 1 (soon to be returning) otr drivers to make a profit from. I'm not sure if my class is a typical example, but I'd venture to guess it's not far off.
