What I meant to say there....in a condensed version: you do not have to accept a raggedy, filthy truck to live in just because you are a rookie. DO NOT fall for that crap. Stand up for yourself in a polite and appropriate manner if they try and give you something unacceptable.

Truck I started with was a 2006 long hood. Comfy wouldn't pull worth a darn but it was comfy. Next one is my current truck. 2000 long hood love the darn thing rough riding sob, seat kills my back but I love that truck. Worst truck I ever drove was a 2010 freight shaker rental while mine was in the shop. Truck rode like a log truck, wouldn't run more than 66 empty, loaded couldn't get it above 60 and couldn't get it in the big hole. It was harder to see out of than my long hood Pete. I'm happy with what I drive though she ain't new but she's mine and I love that truck.

Worst job I actually didn't take. Wouldve been a 2 day job delievering a truck to Texas. Glad I didn't take it 600 bucks to run down to Texas truck was junk no power tires were #### thank god I didn't do that first scale o went through I would've been out of service not to mention the company I would've delievered the truck for was already out of service.

from day one I have never driven a road camode.
never in junk have been in some very old trucks but they were exceptionally well maintained

I lasted 2 days working for a fleet owner who was leased to Bennette
total junk. safer to leave than drive it...
its simple if your given junk refused to drive it
or take it to the nearest scale house and ask for a full blown level 3 and have them shut it down till repaired.

    Any truck?

In 1992 I bought my first truck. 1978 Cabover Freightliner, no power steering, no A/C, Hendrickson Long Leaf suspension, 55 MPH top end. I sure learned a lot about trucks.
I was 26 and a year and a half later I drove a new custom ordered FLD off the lot.

I started out in a 1970 or so sleeper cabover Mack, 237hp, 5 speed, NO A/C, NO airride, shock absorber on seat, NO power steering, cardboard headliner with a hole right above drivers head from bouncing off ceiling. Try that out for a few weeks during the summer! Great Northern Truck Lines Netcong, NJ.

First truck with my Class B CDL was an early 80's Mack/Renault cabover, straight tanker, for delivering propane. Like 215hp, 6 speed, leaf springs on all 4 corners.
Thing had a hard time getting out of it's own way. First truck with Class A was a 2010 FL Century Class.

Maybe you should ask that in a new thread that is all your own. Instead of hijacking this guys thread.
The O/P is asking worst truck/job when you started. What in the world does that have to do with a particular truck-stop???
