Not always true, if you have time to put the battery on a good charger for about 24 hours it should come back to life. How old it is can be a factor, manufacture date can usually be found in a coded sticker or stamped into the case. Usually a letter number where the letter is the month and the number the year. If it's more than 3 years old I wouldn't bother.

it sucks in the west region. PERIOD. i don't see how ANY company survives running western region. i got called for a load. said i wanted to stay close to home. and the gal said kewl. you can be my western driver cuz no one else wants to run out here.
i can see why. -
all you know is the month and year it was produced.
and when you leave the car on. for 3 weeks. even a brand new battery will go bad. and brand new batteries go bad all the time. along with everything else. i've seen a million new parts fail within the first 3 months. -
I am still at home and might leave on Monday to go back East. It was nice to have a week off and only have two weeks to go before we go to Alaska for a cruise. I like that schedule of two weeks driving and one week off. As long as the miles are there. I had 6800mls in the two week trip. We went car shopping yesterday since the girl friend wants a truck again. We found a 2010 Ford F-150 Raptor she really liked. We took it for a test drive and the sales guy almost filled his pants when she got on it.
He told her to step on it when she got on the freeway, but she hammered it on the s style on ramp and entered the freeway at about 75mph and asked him if she should step on it now. Gotta love her

Ruger I can assure you Reefers aren't fun sitting at GW's for 0300 apps, something gets rejected you sit for hrs while they decide what you do with the product.
I would haul a dry Van any day over a Reefer! -
ive hauled both before and the only reason i would haul reefer is because we have a reefer division at this company so i wouldnt have to change jobs if i do that
