Temp control Div

my 1 yr anniversary w/the company is next month and I have yet to even think about applying anywhere else. Have specifics you'd like addressed, message me, I'll answer if I can, or will attempt to point you in the right direction.

Meant to add: getting my first California run! Leaving in the morning, picking up a 2stop: Stockton and Rancho Cucamonga (sp). Woohoo!

 

Uneventful, but scenic run from Covington, TN to Ripon, CA. Been here about 4 hrs. 1st stop delivers in the A.M. and I'm only 30 minutes from the place. Then I have to creep back down to Rancho Cucamonga for final stop on Tuesday morning! I was told there was already a reload in that area in the making as of this past Thursday...going back to South Carolina...that'd be sweet!

 

Maverick is a good company to drive for. I average anywhere from 2200 to 2600 miles/week. One week you may do better than the 2600, next week may be the 2200 week. It usually balances out. And no, we are NOT 100% drop/hook; there's quite a bit, though, and that makes for good weeks. All Maverick trucks are Freightliner Cascadias and ALL are automatics (which is great when you're doing a 4-stop load in Chicago, or picking up in downtown Boston). I've seen some '14 models on the main yard in Little Rock the last time I was there. I usually stay out 3 weeks at a time, but I'm single w/nobody but me @ home so it's easier for me to. I think the minimum is 2 wks out at a time, but you can definitely stay out longer if you like. I'm starting week 5 and I go home this week.
Maverick is a stand-up company and I feel like I made a good choice going with them last year when I got back into trucking. Good luck out there!
