I81 should be open by Tuesday morning, but the ramp will be closed for 2-3 months at least.

At the cons in Siloam Springs, AR. I have been here almost 3 hrs and not on a door yet. There were 4 trucks ahead of me when I got here but only 2 of them have been sent to a door. This is one of those first come first sevre places and they start receiving at 0700. Of course it didn't help any us here when the first 2 trucks didn't get sent to a door until almost 0800. I have a pre plan with a 1700 appt to pick up 276 miles away in Newport, AR. I have already sent a message stating that if I am not moving toward that load by 1030 I might not make it the appt.

Petro exit 56 on 295 in Jersey. Two drops in Philly & Jersey this morning, empty at 1000. Not going anywhere until...tomorrow? Said freight is slow in this area, anyway only 3 hours left on 70. Pay only parking is something new to me.

Just picked up a loa of jars in Millville NJ. Checked the book an cat scales app. No scale remotely close. Bill says just shy of 43,000. Closest scale I found is just past a weight station. :/

    HEY NOW!

Sitting in BFE Wyoming. Wamsutter, WY to be exact. I-80 Xit something :biggrin_25525:. Well, busted my butt to get this load to the Con today to get a surprise surprise... Won't take it today, deliver tomorrow. OH, and you added another stop to this load. The buyer in Salt Lake City! So looks like I get to move some freight for them too!

The Best part of this whole trip I run out of hours after delivering tomorrow. So the Con will get their load on Wednesday! :biggrin_2559:

I saw some comments about L'anse. First tip, don't be scared of the load. Tighten down the winches to what you feel comfortable, but don't overdo it, REDO the bungees (don't be that guy going down the road like a balloon), and then when you feel good to go, tighten down the winches one more click and roll! I have picked up many of their loads without incident, but I have had two relay loads that were shifted. Both from not tightening down the loads! IMO

I did see three Roehl Drivers on Sunday on I-90. All heading EAST while I seemed to be the lonely guy heading WEST! It's all good for me, just more miles and miles! FYI, this trip went from a one stop relay, 1132 miles, to a three stop relay, 1998 miles. Stop Pay and 3 times the tarp pay! Gotta love it, even though it was a PITA!!! :biggrin_255:
