I'll bet she does fine. She may not be happy about it (CRE) but she'll do well and make the most of it.

I agree she seemed like she was willing to do what it takes and that is what is really needed.

We've been with CRE for 17 months now and got sucked in to their lies about leasing. Paid the price dearly for not doing the research beforehand. So now we are locked into that lease for another 16 months. The first year we made more negative paychecks than anything else. Had to live off the $100 advance almost weekly. Now that we are more experienced we make less negative paychecks than before but nothing to be proud of. Fortunately we don't have bills at home to take care of so we manage to suffer through it. As soon as the lease is up we are RUNNING as fast as we can from this company. All of the horror stories you are are 100% accurate! And the worst part may be that when you finally get your cdl and go on the road with a trainer.. he will more than likely only have 6 months of experience himself/herself. Because training is the about the only way you will make money in this company. My only advice is, if you are dead set on England, is DO NOT under any circumstance lease a truck! They will make it sound like the best option for you and your family.. promising better everything! It's lies! Don't do it!!! Also the fact that you have a family with 5 children... don't plan on seeing them much. They are terrible about getting you home.. it doesn't matter how much advance warning you give them that you need to be home for a certain time. If you do get there, it'll be late. I truely wish you the best of luck, and really hope you read these posts before signing anything for them.

Just for the sake of balance, I will say this about England's leasing program. I had a lease through them that did well for a while but then ended on a rather sour note for me. That being said, I know other drivers who finished their leases in great shape and moved on to greener pastures. I also had friends who were a married couple on a lease. They made good money, and while they didn't need much home time, they were able to get routed and shut down for a couple of days while they chased 30 Seconds to Mars concerts in several cities. They bought front row seats, got back stage passes, partied with the band and spent at least a day or two afterward recuperating. Obviously, they're huge fans of the band and had the money and cooperation of England to be able to do this while successfully completing their lease. (They're now with FedEx regional.)
My only point to posting this is this: plenty of people (including me) had bad experiences with England. But, in all fairness, plenty of people also achieve their goals and move on to better places once their commitment is finished. And these are people I know personally and am still in touch with. -
Dont worry i was in your position about 10 weeks ago agot the hang of it like 2 or 3 days in the truck and i had never driven a stick. so youll get it dont worry
