Did you set your park break on the scale/

Just askign cause i know in the prostars if you set the breaks it will do wacky things to the weights.

Yes breaks were set :/ I noticed when you set the breaks it gets a little jumpy. Someone said that's normal. But I've scaled before and never had the steers over

    Connecticut I84 ext 71 T/A...$15 to park.
After a 2 1/2 hour live unload in Providence RI, 2 hrs of Boston am traffic and a 4+ hr live hand j_b load the van is only half full w/8,500lbs and my 14 is gone. Only 774 mi to go tomorrow so they pushed delivery back a day. I said, thanks...for everything. I'm going to follow the yellow brick road west and try and stay there.

    goblue Thanks this.

My guess would be slide tandems back 2-3 holes. Moving more weight to the drives relieving some weight on the steers?

Yes get the trailer tandems legal. As long as you are not over gross steers do not need to be 12k only. Check front of atlas, many states allow up to 20k on steers.

    Meltom and Projektf350 Thank this.

TA, WI I-90 exit 132 at DeForest. Got a load of coils (heh, a relay load and yes I checked its securement) going to Menomonie WI tomorrow.

My load of ceiling tiles from L'Anse went fine, yeah apparently the guys there want to be SURE they don't get blamed for crushing any of the files, so they tighten the straps only hand-tight, or that's how it seemed.

Saw an interesting wreck on I-290 exit 10 this afternoon while coming up from Gary. A tractor/van took the exit curve too fast and tipped over to the driver's side, going down a 30-foot embankment on the outside of the curve. They had the exit closed and there were a couple "big" wrecker trucks trying to get the remains of the trailer back upright; it was about 120 degrees from vertical at the bottom of that embankment. Watch those exit speed limit signs drivers!

I was in one of the rooms today and overheard somebody talking to a flatbedder. Apparently all the drivers are being brought in to check skills and close quarter driving because of poor mpg's, accidents, and poor load securement. There were a few in today being tested.
