Who told him to lie on his applications? Did I miss that one? Just wondering where the"bad advice" is.

DE36535 it's at the beginning of the thread. I said it's bad advice because I almost got sent home for not mentioning a seat belt ticket that was over ten year's old that I completely forgot about is the reason I said to lever lie.

    DE36535 Thanks this.

Bottom line is don't lie about anything they will find out, sex or violence you can pretty much forget it, drugs if its over 10 years shouldn't be a problem any thing else you should be ok since its been 13 years. Your still gonna need to actually talk to these recruiters , makes you seem more of a person that if they are just looking at your application. I have had some experience but I'll be the first to say I don't know it all. Just be honest and don't go through a school before you find someone willing to hire you.

Lol vegaskid, I think you got confused this thread is started by someone else, Im already an employed driver. Im the one with 13 year old felonies and told him not to lie about anything, as dishonest as companies are they appreciate honesty, which is kinda wierd, my recent post were to the numbnuts that accused me of knowing it all, then proved my point by saying it was my opinion which is exactly what I was expressing was my opinion.

Yeah, its good advise and free wisdom lol. I see alot of people here say to just lie and the worst that can happen is they wont get the job, if your lucky that's all that will happen, I know Steven's will put on your dac that you fasified your application, just bad advise all around

Also OP these are the guy's who will tell you there's no chance in hell of becoming a trucker and will belittle you for having a record. Pay them no mind there are plenty of companies that will hire felon's. All these do gooder's are no better than you, only difference is you got caught and they didnt
