Running With Schneider!

Today Ran more like usual, 539 miles from West branch IA down here to the West Memphis OC. Fortunately was able weave my way between the severe thunder storms. Didn't hit any rain but there was some very strange lighting, cloud formations, strong wind and that intense humidity. Most of the way it was sunny and calm tho.

Will hit my delivery down in Brookhaven MS about noon Tomorrow making that the last load for this weeks pay period. That load paid $1264.00 to the truck. All total this week loads generated $3978.00 to the truck! Not bad for all the goofing off I did.

Next week it is back to business! After I drop this load in MS will head over to get my 3rd and final load I have scheduled so far! Mobile AL to Red Bluff CA. Both pick up and delivery is open window appt. Load weighs about 17,000 LB. Nice!

BTW I'm averaging 7.30 MPG. on my fuel.. Anyone else?? How is your truck doing?

 

Awesome! Yeah my wife helps out with the load planning too from home. I do most of it but when I need her to watch for specific loads while I drive she handles that for me. Will be picking her up in couple weeks so we can be together for awhile. Works out well that way plus she gets visit friends sometimes along the way.

My truck is not governed on choice.. Not sure about the system Lease trucks on company dispatch.

 

Just realized today the Health Insurance is through True North, Don't know where got north shore from?

 

Hoping all drivers were able to steer clear of the tornadoes lately. What a devastation! unbelievable.

You would think by now they would have a massive underground shelter in place for those elementary schools right in path of major tornadoes known to come through there year after year. Sad n
